This drive along the Ho Chi Minh trail is like you imagined Viet Nam to be: rice fileds bordered by coconut and banana trees and the almighty jungle! Most of the drive through mountainous Ethnic lands, until you reach the South China sea coast towards the end of the journey.

Day 1: Dalat - Lak Lake (150km)

7am. depart. Fantastic riding section about 17km downhill to Tanung. Flat to rolling hills after this. Transfer by vehicle to the top of Phu Son pass for an early lunch at 11:30. Bike down Phu Son Pass to Lak Lake where we overnight

Day 2: Lak Lake - Buon Ma Thuot (50km)

 After breakfast head out to visit Bao Dai summer palace. Take a boat to a remote village on the far side of Lak lake. Lunch and rest before the 50km ride to Buon Ma Thuot. Arrive about 4:30. Free exploring night in the city

Day 3: Buon Ma Thuot - Pleiku (200km)

This day is particularly long with 110km of biking through a fairy flat terrain of coffee and rubber tree plantations. The road wanders over rolling hills through fantastic sections of pine forest. Picnic lunch on the way. Overnight in hotel in heart of Pleiku.

Day 4: Pleiku - Ngoc Hoi (130km) 8:30 depart by bike. Visit Sea Lake, local minority village (Bana), suspesion brigde and traditional wooden church, Russian Tank and Charlie hill. Lunch in Kontum. Keep biking 69km through rolling hills to Ngoc Hoi.

Day 5: Ngoc Hoi - Phuoc Son (120km)

 7am depart. This is the best riding day of the trip with a fantastic 80km section of deep jungle on both sides, run along the border of Ngoc Linh national park and Ngoc Linh Mt. through the Truong Son Mt. range, along the Ho Chi Minh trail. Visit Bana and Sedang village. Lunch along the way. Transfer to Phuoc Son

Day 6: Phuoc Son - Hoi An (130km) 8am depart with 60km biking through more great sections of jungle, nice landscape and waterfalls. Picnic lunch on the way. Transfer to Hoi An World Heritage Site.
